Bethloft Custom Octagonal Skylight

The Bethloft project called for a custom octagonal glass skylight. CBE Glass worked from detailed shop drawings to fabricate the frame and glass to precise angles, then installed and sealed it on the roof. The result is a watertight skylight that brings natural light into the space below, a good example of our custom overhead glazing capabilities.

The challenge

Commercial projects combine design ambitions with tight construction schedules, coordination with multiple trades and precise tolerances on site.

Our solution

Working from detailed shop drawings, we fabricated and installed the overhead glazing with laminated safety glass and careful flashing for a watertight result. Throughout the job, our team coordinated closely with the general contractor and the owner, kept the site clean and safe, and protected finished surfaces until turnover.

The result

The owner gets a modern, light-filled building with glazing that performs, looks sharp and is backed by a responsive local glass contractor.
