Project overview

INOVA Medical Office Building

For an INOVA medical office and pharmacy building, CBE Glass installed exterior storefront entrances and window systems, then the interior glass office fronts, glass doors and interior windows for exam and office suites. The photos show the project from open shell to a finished, light-filled medical facility.

The challenge

Healthcare facilities demand safe, cleanable materials and installers who can work around patients, staff and strict infection-control rules, often in buildings that never close.

Our solution

We laid out and anchored the aluminum storefront framing, glazed it with tempered safety glass and installed the entrance doors with commercial-grade closers, pivots and locks, finishing every joint with weathertight sealant. Interior glass was measured on site and installed with precise reveals, tempered safety glass and quality door hardware for a seamless finish. Our crews installed the curtain wall and window wall framing, set insulated low-E glass units and sealed the perimeter to tie into the building's air and water barrier. Throughout the job, our team coordinated closely with the general contractor and the owner, kept the site clean and safe, and protected finished surfaces until turnover.

The result

Patients and staff now enjoy bright, welcoming spaces, with durable glass and hardware that are easy to clean and maintain. Discover more of our work in Northern Virginia.
