CC Prep School

CC Prep School is a modern multi-story education building with large window walls, entrances and interior glazing. CBE Glass glazed the exterior window systems and storefront entrances and installed interior glass, including the reception area and classrooms. The finished building shows how strategic glazing gives students daylight-filled learning spaces.

The challenge

Schools and public buildings must meet demanding codes for safety glazing and energy performance, and work often has to be scheduled around school calendars and public access.

Our solution

Our crews installed the curtain wall and window wall framing, set insulated low-E glass units and sealed the perimeter to tie into the building's air and water barrier. We laid out and anchored the aluminum storefront framing, glazed it with tempered safety glass and installed the entrance doors with commercial-grade closers, pivots and locks, finishing every joint with weathertight sealant. Throughout the job, our team coordinated closely with the general contractor and the owner, kept the site clean and safe, and protected finished surfaces until turnover.

The result

Daylight now fills classrooms and reading rooms, while robust glazing and entrances stand up to heavy everyday use.
