For Storage Zone, built with Dyle Construction, we installed the storefront entrances and window systems of this self-storage facility.

The challenge

Commercial projects combine design ambitions with tight construction schedules, coordination with multiple trades and precise tolerances on site.

Our solution

We laid out and anchored the aluminum storefront framing, glazed it with tempered safety glass and installed the entrance doors with commercial-grade closers, pivots and locks, finishing every joint with weathertight sealant. Our crews installed the curtain wall and window wall framing, set insulated low-E glass units and sealed the perimeter to tie into the building's air and water barrier. Throughout the job, our team coordinated closely with the general contractor, Dyle Construction and the owner, kept the site clean and safe, and protected finished surfaces until turnover.

The result

The owner gets a modern, light-filled building with glazing that performs, looks sharp and is backed by a responsive local glass contractor.
